Kenneth M. Conley

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his Petaluma residence on July 23, 2013. Devoted husband for over 53 years to Carol Conley. Doting father and coach to Kenneth A. (Donna) Conley of Bakersfield, CA and Stephen (Cheryl) of Rohnert Park. Cherished grandfather of David, Richard, Stephen, and Amber. Ken was born in Wewoka, OK on November 27, 1934 and moved to Petaluma when he was 2 years old. He worked as a truck driver for Nielsen Freight Lines for 25 years and later for DiSalvo and Consolidated Truck lines and Willig Freight Lines. He served as a member of the Petaluma School Board from 1975 until 1984 and was honored to present both his sons with their high school diplomas. Ken was active in and served as Business Manager for the Petaluma Pop Warner Football and a member of the Elk's Lodge #901. He enjoyed his time at the Petaluma Golf & Country Club. A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Petaluma Golf & Country Club, 1500 Country Club Dr., Petaluma.
