Kenneth W. Gessler

Passed away peacefully at home, September 13, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Husband of Sigrun Ebertus Gessler. Brother of Roberta Gessler, Cindy (Gabe) Farkas, Terry (James) Hart, Timothy (Barbara) Gessler, and Brian (Cheryl) Homerosky. Father of Michele (Tom) Kennell, Christi Merrill Sitchler and John (Lu) Merrill. Grandfather of Kyle and Zach Sitchler, Cortney and Sean Merrill, Madison and Tommy Kennell. Ken loved golf and other sports, cooking, woodworking and spending time with family. He always had a positive attitude, great sense of humor and was caring and thoughtful. He worked in sales in the food industry for many years. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA.
