Kenneth E. Gifford

Kenneth E. Gifford - A 34 year resident of Santa Rosa, and one of the pioneer steam well drilling engineers at the geysers, passed away on June 25, 2011. He was born in Taft, California on June 23, 1927. Ken is survived by his wife Alice Gifford, son Donald Gifford and daughter Connie Ingersoll. He was a proud grandfather of Holly Lundberg, Ryan Atkins, Trinidee Brown and Tiffany Gifford, and great-grandfather of Chloe Atkins, Kylie Lundberg, Brooke Atkins, Jacob Atkins, Kendall Lundberg and McKenzie Brown. Ken worked at the Geyser Steam Field as a directional drilling engineer. Services will be held on Friday, July 1st at 11:00 am at Redwood Christian Fellowship Church, 7789 Healdsburg Ave., Sebastopol. Interment at Pleasant Hills Memorial Park.
