Kimberly Louise Baucom

Kimberly Louise Baucom - Kimberly Louise Baucom passed away April 15, 2012. She leaves behind her four children, Carly Sullivan, 15, Audrey Sullivan, 12, and twins Michael and Macie Conover, 21 months. Her children meant the world to her and she loved them with all her heart. Kim leaves a giant void in our entire family, including her parents, Lyle and Carol Baucom, sister Lori Baucom Burleson (David), nieces Jenna Lambert and Brionna Worthington, and nephew Broc Burleson, all of Petaluma, as well as numerous extended family members, friends, co-workers, and students. Kim is predeceased by her loving brother, Jason Lyle Baucom, and her grandparents, Nellie Louise Craig, Shirley and Pete Baucom, and Alice Hobbs. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Petaluma Valley Baptist Church, 580 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the two memorial funds which have been established for Kimâ??s children. She went on to graduate from UC Davis with a BA in Rhetoric and Communications, and a minor in Political Science. She obtained her teaching credential from Dominican University, and followed her passion for teaching to Meadow Elementary School in Petaluma, where she taught many grade levels during her twelve year tenure, but finally taught second grade. She loved teaching second grade the most because she loved children and teaching them to read.
