Kimberly (Mccaffrey) Nelson

Kimberly (McCaffrey) Nelson - Beloved wife of Tom Nelson, devoted and loving mother of James and Kevin. Survived by her parents Jim and Mary McCaffrey of Petaluma and her brothers, Jim, Mike & Chris McCaffrey; her sisters-in-law, Maria and Patty McCaffrey; a brother-in-law, Richard Nelson and her father-in-law, Richard Nelson. Kim was a graduate of USF with a Master's Degree in Nursing from Boston College. Her career as an RN was with Stanford Hospital and Alta Bates Hospital where she excelled. She was an amazing person with an incredible knack for making friends wherever she went. Her ability to balance family, friends and career was a sight to see. Kim was always there to help those in need. Her life was dedicated to her children. Even when gravely ill she never complained, she just continued to love and nourish her family.
