Laura "42" Butler - After a valiant effort, Laura passed away at her Penngrove home surrounded by her loving family and dedicated friends. She is survived by her dear husband of 25 years; Stephen Butler, cherished daughters; Corena, Amanda, Stephanie, and Darlene. Loving daughter of Irene Butler of Cotati and the late George Dayzie, Sr. Dear sister of Larry Dayzie and his wife Denise of Oceanside, CA, Ronald Dayzie and his wife Carlene of Santa Rosa, Darlene Barajas of Fairfield, George Dayzie, Jr. and his wife Anita of Oakland and the late Eugene Dayzie. Daughter-in-law of Patricia and A.L. Butler of Penngrove. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a Vigil on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. Please join us at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma. Laura was a self taught musician and artist who loved camping with her family at Richardson Grove Redwoods every year along with watching sports on TV, playing cards or shooting a game of 8 ball. She was a very private person who wanted to keep the details of her illness to only a few.
