Laurena Marie Azevedo

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce that Laurena Marie Azevedo, 73, passed away on June 14, 2023 surrounded by her husband and daughter in her home. She was born and raised in Petaluma, California. She is survived by her husband, Francis Azevedo, daughter Jamie Azevedo, step-son Manuel Azevedo of Idaho, grandson Tyler Azevedo of Idaho, and cousin James Sansi of Albion.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Aldino and Mary Valenti. Laurena graduated from Petaluma High School in 1967 and attended Marinello Cosmetology School in San Rafael. Upon graduation she worked at Wayne’s Hair Salon and Kings Beauty Salon in Petaluma. Laurena treasured her time raising her family and being involved at Cinnabar School as well as spending time with friends, driving to the ocean, playing games, such as Pedro and Bunco, cooking, baking and road trips with her husband of 47 years.
