Leah Barber Cassina - Passed away in Santa Rosa just 2 days short of her 93rd birthday, on Aug. 25, 2011. Loving wife for 54 years to the late William Cassina. Kind and gentle mother of Bill Cassina and his wife Penny and Dorothy Silva. Adored grandmother and storyteller to Gregory (Tammie) Cassina, Marc Cassina, Billy Cassina, Chris Silva, and Jeff (Stacy) Silva. Great-grandmother of Joseph and Sydney Silva, Lauren, Ben, Molly and Ari Silva, Sammantha Cassina and Dylan Cassina. Great-great-grandmother of Haylee Green. Dear sister of Jane Spolini, Warren Barber and the late June Barber and Lewis Barber. As per her wishes there was a private graveside service at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to All Aboard Rescue, P.O. 7486, Santa Rosa, CA 95407. Leahâ??s grandparents were pioneers in Petaluma. The Blackburns and the Rodds helped build Petaluma. She and Bill were longtime dairy ranchers on Pepper Road in Petaluma.
