Leandro "Andy" Garrone - Passed away on May 1, 2010 in Petaluma. Devoted husband of Sarah J. Garrone of Petaluma. Cherished father of John Garrone (Joyce) of Santa Rosa and Joe Garrone (Donna) of Petaluma. Beloved grandfather of Marcus Garrone of Santa Rosa, Joseph Garrone, Jr. and Michelle Garrone both of Petaluma. Andy was born in San Francisco, but reared and educated in Sonoma, graduating from Sonoma Valley High School. In 1960, Andy married Sarah and together they enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage. He jointly owned and operated Petaluma Refuse Company for 16 years (The Garbage Man). After selling his company to Santa Rosa Refuse, Andy worked as a deliveryman for Lombardiâ??s French Bakery for over 10 years (The Bread Man). In his spare time, Andy enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren. His work ethic was strong, but his love and devotion to his family was even greater! Andy coached his sonsâ?? sports games and attended every sporting event and function his grandchildren participated in (The Best Fan Ever). He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Friends and family are invited to meet on Friday, May 7, 2010 after 12:15 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma thence to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma where at 1:00 PM a Funeral Mass will be held. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at the Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanna Boys Center, PO Box 100, Sonoma, CA 95476. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma. Age: 73 years. A Member of: Nicasio Parlor #183, Native Sons of the Golden West.
