Leland "Lee" Petersen - Leland Alvin Petersen, born March 7, 1921, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2009 in Santa Rosa. Beloved husband for 36 years to the late Marie Kimberk Petersen. Loving father of Daniel (Karen) Petersen, Terri Tessier, and the late Edward Petersen. Dear grandfather of Jenny Petersen and Christopher Petersen. Dear brother of Elrose Frese and the late George Petersen, Ida Otterson, Lillian Petersen and Walter Petersen. Long time friend and companion to the late Eva Hebert. Survived by several nieces and nephews. A Petaluma native, Lee grew up on a poultry ranch that was one of many that made Petaluma famous as the â??Worldâ??s Egg Basketâ?
