Leonard Charles Fautley

July 7, 1917 — December 11, 2007

Leonard Charles Fautley - Passed away quietly at home at age 90. Born in London, England, he lived for 83 years in Petaluma where he met and married his life-long sweetheart Tammy Fautley. He was the tender-hearted father of five children, April McGrath (Bill), Jon Fautley (Pearl), Robin Hayes Fautley (Greg), Jeremy Fautley, and Heidi Miranda (Ed), and treasured grandfather to Jennifer, Christopher, Matthew, Jamie (Gary), Teresa (Seth), Nicolette, Zachary and Chaiya, and great-grandfather to Isabelle, Jacob, and Adrianna. He served in the Army Medical Corps during World War II, worked for many years as a lather, and later became a real estate broker. He was a member of the SIRs #100 and the First Presbyterian Church in Petaluma. He enjoyed creating things with his hands and took great pride in his vegetable garden. Even as his health was failing he found great joy in getting people to smile. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation to the First Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church (on B St. in Petaluma) on December 23rd at 1:00 PM. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma.
