Leonard Spencer Lafranchi

Leonard Spencer LaFranchi - Passed away in San Rafael, CA, June 5, 2011 after a short illness. Spencer was born May 15, 1943, the son of the late Frank and Ruth LaFranchi. He graduated from Healdsburg High School in 1962. A truck driver, he retired from Hunt & Behrens after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring his 1942 and 1964 Jeeps, with his dogs, Dixie and Dolly at his side. After his retirement, he enjoyed working on his mother-in-law, Evelyn Dolciniâ??s ranch and his cousin Cherylâ??s Oak Ridge Angus Ranch, fixing ranch equipment and whatever needed to be done. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. The Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Family and friends are also invited to the Funeral Liturgy, Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN. Committal services will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefer memorials be made to your favorite charity. He married Darlene Dolcini on June 30, 1975. He is also survived by his children, Michael Ielmorini (Cyndi) and Deborah Hawkins (Mark). Grandfather of Mikie and Jake Ielmorini, Ashley, Cody and Anthony Hawkins. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, attending all their sporting events. They loved their Papa and will miss him so much.
