Leonard E. Mane

Petaluma

Leonard (Lenny) E. Mane passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife, Carolyn, by his side. Born in Petaluma, California on August 14, 1937, to Emile and Eva Mane.

Lenny attended St. Vincent’s schools from elementary to high school where he graduated in 1955. He loved cars and worked for Napa Auto Parts. He then became a Marin County Deputy Sheriff, but he left to open his own Napa Auto Parts Store in San Rafael with a partner.

Lenny was a member of The Pacers Car Club and enjoyed spending time with long time friends. He loved traveling and spending time with his family. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching The San Francisco 49ers play.

Lenny is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn, his twin daughters, Lorie Chaffee and Lisa Tarantino, and six grandchildren, as well as his stepdaughters Julie Greenhow and the late Margaret Moldenhauer. He is also known as Papa by his two step grandsons.

Lenny was an incredible man who brought joy and laughter to those around him. He will be greatly missed.
