Liduina Maria Anacleto

Liduina Maria Anacleto passed away on February 2, 2020 in Petaluma at the age or 78 years.  Devoted wife of Joe Anacleto of Petaluma.  Cherished mother of Debbie Hudspeth (Justin) of Rohnert Park.  Adored grandmother of Nelia Victorino of Rohnert Park.  Predeceased by one brother and one sister.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Liduina was born, reared and educated in São Jorge, Azores.  She and her husband, Joe, emigrated to the United States in 1966, first settling in Point Reyes.  They later moved to Novato and finally established roots in Petaluma, where they have lived for 42 years.  Liduina worked as a housekeeper for 20 years, but her greatest love was for her family and friends.  She was an amazing cook and never let anyone leave her house with an empty stomach.  She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma with a reception to follow.  The Graveside Service will take place on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma, CA.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1451 Guerneville Rd., Suite 220, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.  Arrangements under the direction of PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma (707-763-4131).
