Lillian "Lil" Pacciorini

September 16, 1921 — May 4, 2015

Long time Petaluma resident, Lil Pacciorini, age 93, passed away on May 4, 2015. Beloved wife for 65 years of the late Henry "Hank" Pacciorini. Loving mother of Janis Pacciorini of Petaluma and the late James "Jim" Pacciorini. Dear mother in law of Rosalind "Roz" Pacciorini of Petaluma. Loving grandmother of Jimmy Pacciorini, Jeffrey Pacciorini of Petaluma, Ryan Freeman (Christina) of Stockton and Gianna Freeman of Petaluma. Great grandmother of Jett Pacciorini, Jaze Pacciorini of Petaluma and Domanik Freeman of Stockton. Dear sister in law of Florence Calegari of Sonoma, and Anne Broxmeyer of Petaluma. Dear sister of the late Rose Dempsey, John Broxmeyer, Elizabeth Rabben, Jeanne Avellar and Luke Broxmeyer. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lil was born in Solen, North Dakota on September 16, 1921 to Raphael Broxmeyer and Anna Scherger. The family moved to Petaluma shortly thereafter. Lil attended St. Vincent Elementary and High Schools. On October 16, 1943, Lil and Hank opened Petaluma Auto Body which continued successfully under the ownership of her late son Jim. It is currently operated by her daughter in law Roz and grandson Jeffrey. Lil was an avid golfer. She was a former member of Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Hidden Valley Lake, Rancho Murieta and Rooster Run Golf and Country Clubs. Lil was employed by Brandner Veterinary and worked as an usherette, and in the box office of the State Theatre where she was proudly known as "The Little Mockingbird." Lil also coached the St. Vincent's High School girl's basketball team. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Lil's dear and lifelong friend Lois Roberts, the wonderful and caring staff of Sunrise Assisted Living, and caregiver Mereoni Lakuyara, and also Dan Pastryk and Larry Torliatt for all their support. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 2 PM on Saturday May 9, 2015. Private Interment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952.
