Linda Rae Nolt

Linda Nolt (Curry), age 71 died at home in Cotati, CA on November 5, 2019.  She was born to Leonard and Sue Curry in Richmond, CA on December 24, 1947, and moved with her family in 1961 to Terra Linda, CA. Linda graduated from Terra Linda High School in 1966 and later attended College of Marin. She got married in 1968 and welcomed her first child, Bobbi Lynn Nolt, in 1971.  Linda worked at the Marin Independent Journal before starting her career in the banking industry. She welcomed her second child, John Selby, in 1978 and shortly thereafter moved to the mountains where she enjoyed the beauty and community in Quincy, CA for eight years. While in Quincy she was one of the first employees of Plumas Bank where she made lifelong friends. Linda moved back to the North Bay area in 1987 to be close to family and shortly thereafter fell in love with her long-time partner Les Jamison. Linda retired in 2011 from Union Bank in Petaluma after making many great friends working at various banks over her 30-year banking career. Linda found great joy in watching her three grandchildren: Reese (13), Chase (10) and Tula (4) grow up.  Linda's kindness, generosity and dedication to her friends and family were the hallmark of her life. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Linda is survived by her long-time partner Les Jamison; daughter Bobbi Lynn Buchanan, son John Selby and his partner Audrey; grandchildren: Reese, Chase and Tula; sister Carolyn Zappetini (David); niece Linda "Tunnie" Harrison (Kevin), nephew Steven Zappetini and two great nieces: Kendall and Dana.
