We celebrate the life of Lisa the last 22 years that she and her beloved companion, Donald A. Johnson, were joined in the journey of life, as told by Donald:
"We met in the Summer of 1999, While I drove for Petaluma Transit. She would take my Bus last one of the night going Her way. I was able to Watch Her through the passenger Viewing mirror in the Bus. She had Light Brown skin, short and Sweet looking; that was the Girl for Me! I got Her Number in Early August that year, Asked for a date, She said yes, so off to Salmon Creek for the Cheap date. Peanut butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Fruit, Juice, bottled water, and We set sail! She was Married before Me for ten years that didn't work out for Her as She wanted Kids, He didn't. It was very easy for Us to Meet Each other half way as We both knew what we wanted out of A relationship. She knew I had a Son and Wanted to meet him. So I made that happen, and it was clear, We had a Nice Small Family Together. She accepted Steven, My Son as Her Own Son, He accepted Her as His stop Mom too! As time went on She got to know My Mom and Sister very well. They knew She was here for the long haul too. My Mom accepter Her as Her Daughter, and Sister as A Sister to Lisa. In 2013; Lisa had a Stroke, June 7, of 2013 Spent Almost A Month in rehab. On July Fourth, I planned to visit with Her, knowing She wasn't coming Home until July Seventh. as I got there, the staff said, oh Good to see You. We were just getting ready to send Lisa Home. So We went Home and later in the evening, Lisa needed the Bathroom. I brought her wheel Chair over. She said to Me, Get that out of here! So I Brought the walker over to Her and again; Get that Out of here! She made it clear She was a fighter, so I got Her up, did Business back to Bed downstair on the hide a bed. The Bar got to My back and I said to Her; We are going upstairs and sleep in Our Bed! She looked at Me and said We are, yes I Replied to Her! So 15 Steps upstairs to bed We went! The next few Months She went through rehab and made a Full recovery. Lisa was known as My Woman to All My Friends and Co-Workers. Over time Lisa Loved to go through the Thrift stores with Steven, while I Worked in the yard. As time went by, She later became MY Adult Girl always knowing What I needed. Further into Our 22 years together, She became My Little Female, Feisty as ever. The last Few Years She became My Princess, which She will always be, My Princess! Lisa enjoyed time at My Mom's being on Her laptop, She Enjoyed Reading, crocheting, and being Free to Adventure outdoors. She got attached to My two Cats Bucky and Snoop. Snoop took to Her right away with Her tote bag She used as Her purse. Snoop would make Himself Home in Her tote time and time again. In closing this Letter, She will Always be My Princess for Life! I Love You Lisa, My Princess" --Donald a. Johnson
