Lloyd Alvin Wagner, Jr.

Born on August 23, 1925 in Alameda, California, to Florence Richter and Lloyd A. Wagner, Lloyd passed away peacefully at age 92, on April 17, 2018 at his Adobe Canyon home in Kenwood, California. Lloyd served as a Sergeant in the Air Force in World War II, from 1944 to 1946. Lloyd worked in the Flooring Industry as the president of Wagner Carpet until he retired in 1984. Lloyd was the beloved husband of the late Janet E. Wagner. He was preceded in death by his grandson Brian L. Fletcher; his sisters, Dorothy L. Carson and Marjorie E. Ley; and his grandparents; Katherine D. Wehn, and John David Wagner. Lloyd is survived by his children, Doug Wagner, Cathy Fletcher (Jim), Jay Wagner, John Wagner (Carol) and Tom Wagner (Marina). Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, Lloyd loved fishing, racing Hobie Cats, traveling, camping and snow skiing. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409). Private interment; Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Visitation will commence one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, the family invites donations in Lloyd's name to the Kenwood Firefighters Association (P. O. Box 249, Kenwood, CA, 95452). Visitation
