Lloyd Yamasaki

July 7, 1946 — March 22, 2018

Lloyd enjoyed living in Petaluma, where he spent his entire life; except for a tour of duty in Vietnam & college attendance after he graduated from Petaluma High School in 1964. Following graduation from Cal Poly, he did landscaping work – first for his brother Ray until Ray’s retirement. His life revolved around family and church where he was an active member of the Enmanji board.

He was predeceased by his parents Sam & Florence Yamasaki, uncles Henry (Lila) Yamasaki & James Yamasaki & aunt Lorraine Yamasaki. He is survived by Ray (Caroline) Yamasaki & aunts Marian (Curly) Ishizu, Alyce Sugiyama, &Yoshiko Yamasaki & numerous cousins. They always got together during holidays & other times; were supportive during his recent hospitalizations.

Lloyd never lost his sense of humor, even while hospitalized at Petaluma Valley Hospital, where he passed under the watchful care of their entire staff. He will be missed by his family, friends, and acquaintances.

A service will be held April 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Enmanji Buddhist Temple, 1200 Gravenstein Hwy. South, Sebastopol, CA.
