Lois G. Gordon

Lois G. Gordon - Lois Gordon, a long time Sonoma County teacher extraordinaire, died early Thursday morning at the age of 90. She was born and raised in Illinois, and recalled with pleasure her girlâ??s life on the small farm where she lived with her parents, Mabel and Howard Hadley, her sister, Mildred and brother, Henry. Well known for her passionate temperament and her exquisite pumpkin carvings, she loved teaching, was a natural artist, an avid debater and a lover of the small wilderness she inhabited in west county. She is survived by her sons, Eric Gordon of Sebastopol, Bruce Gordon of Sacramento, and Angelo Gordon of Colorado, and by four grand children, two great-grandchildren and one on the way. A Memorial Service will be scheduled for the fall.
