Lois Lafranchi

Lois LaFranchi - Born May 23, 1923 in Tomales, graduated from Tomales High School; worked at Mare Island in the tool shop during World War II, graduated from Empire Beauty School and worked as a hair stylist in Petaluma; married in 1948 and worked as a dairy woman for many years. Member of St. James Parish, Petaluma Holy Ghost Society, Parent-Teacher Association, Booster Club, North Bay Dairy Women, Petaluma Garden Club and a pedro club. Passed away in Petaluma July 1, 2012, age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Walter David LaFranchi, Sr., devoted mother of Patricia Smylie and Walter David LaFranchi, Jr.; beloved grandmother of Thomas Smylie, Kristina Eberhart, David Smylie, Michelle LaFranchi and Dan LaFranchi; great grandmother of Keegan and Kolson Eberhart; sister to Albert Mello, Sr., Gene Mello, Edwina Murray and late siblings Doris Dugan, George Mello, Larry Mello, Gladys Mattos and Bernice Johnson. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
