LOIS M. RUGGERO passed away on November 6, 2013 in Santa Rosa. Devoted wife of the late Peter Ruggero. Cherished mother of Leslie Turner (Johnny) of Petaluma. Adored grandmother of Chrissie Dexter, Danny Turner, and Jenna Turner. Beloved great-grandmother of Wyatt and Dylan Dexter. Loving sister of Grace Kiddie. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Age: 84 years. A member of: Elim Lutheran Church, Petaluma. A native of Chicago, Lois moved to CA in 1952 to work at the Hoberg Resort in Lake County. She was active as a volunteer for the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens and the Schultz Museum in Santa Rosa. She was very proud of having traveled the world, but above all, she loved her family. Lois was a wonderful woman; she will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Elim Lutheran Church, 504 Baker St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 492 9th Street, Suite 300, Oakland, CA 94607. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma.
