Lois Mae Smith - SMITH, LOIS MAE" Entered into rest at home, April 15, 2009, surrounded by her loving family and devoted caregivers. Loving mother of David W. (Pat) Smith of San Jose, CA, Pat L. (Tom) Avila of Santa Rosa, CA and Diane L. (Richard) Cristina of San Jose, CA. Adored grandmother of Steven (Danielle) Serratore, Stacey (Matthew) Bernd, Jennifer (Tracy) Adams, Jeff Cristina, Robin (Jose) Tejada, Cindy (Ramon) Sanchez and Misty (David) Greiger. Cherished great grandmother of Jordan Bernd, Preston Bernd, RJ Adams, Riley Adams, Faith Tejada, Emilio Tejada, Jerad Yarborough, Ryan Yarborough, Caleb Greiger and Ava Greiger. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Nebraska, age 88 years. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, the late Jesse Smith in 2005. Lois has been a resident of our community for the past seven years. Lois added joy to others lives, especially her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, inspirational grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
