Lolita N. Williams

LOLITA WILLIAMS, 80, passed away Monday, May 27th at her home in Petaluma, California with family at her side. Lolita was born in the Cagayan De Oro Provence of Mindanao, on Camigiun Island, in the Philippines. She moved to the United States with her husband, longtime US Army and Air Force serviceman, Albert Harry Williams Sr. The Williams family moved to Novato, California in the mid 1960's and then to Petaluma in late 1971. A retired Marin County Civic Center employee in San Rafael, California, Lolita earned a 20-year achievement award thru the county of Marin. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and trips to Reno and Lake Tahoe in her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, happily married to Albert Sr. and blessed with five sons. Lolita was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sr. of Petaluma. She is survived by her sister; Sofia Nahial of Camigiun, Philippines, her brother, Rodolfo Nahial of Gingoog City, Philippines, her son Jerry Williams and daughter-in-law, Myra, of Union City, son James Williams and daughter-in- law Haydee of Milpitas, son Albert Williams Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jane of Niceville, Florida, son Edward Williams of Long Beach, California and son Robert Williams of Petaluma. Lolita is also survived by numerous grand children, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews of California and in the Philippines. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The family prefers flowers or contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
