Lorraine Ellen (Kimes) Owen "A Country Girl Goes Home" Born on May 4, 1920, in Forestville, California, Lorraine went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Clarence Owen for 53 years and will always be missed and loved by her son, Rick Owen, daughter, Cathy Duer, and son, Craig Owen, along with her 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and was always available to reach out to others to help in anyway she could. As a secretary and teacher's aid for the Santa Rosa City School System, she touched many lives and passed on her love for people and sports to those around her. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Lafferty and Smith Colonial Chapel (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409). Internment will follow at Santa Rosa Memorial-Shiloh Addition in Windsor, CA. Visitation for Mrs. Owen will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017, at the Colonial Chapel. If preferred, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Visitation
