Lorraine A. Rappa

Passed away in Petaluma on July 4, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife for 51 years to the late Jack Rappa. Loving mother of Paul (Judy) Rappa of Petaluma, Jack (Lynn) Rappa of Chico, Robert Rappa and Vincent Rappa both of Petaluma. Cherished grandmother of Mark, Kate, Matthew (Marie), Daniel, and Taylor and great-grandmother of Jack and Judah Rappa. Dear sister-in-law of Grace Herrold. Lorraine was born and raised in North Beach, San Francisco and graduated from Galileo High and San Francisco State. She was a first grade teacher at McKinley school for over 22 years. She was a charter member of St. James Church and belonged to YLI for many years. She and Jack enjoyed being a part of the Good Sam Travel Club but they especially loved spending time with their family. The family gives special thanks to the loving care provided by Lisi Dean. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma. Private inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.
