Lydia Rose (Pedroni) Hansen

Preceded in death by her loving parents, Serefino and Giovanina Pedroni and her beloved son, David Jeffrey Hansen.  Lydia is survived by her loving husband Jack, her sister Olympia Maffia, her son Gary (Teri) Hansen, daughter Julie (John) Piott, grandson Scott (Ann) Hansen, granddaughter’s Kelly Hansen, Janell and Jessica Piott, great granddaughter Rose Hansen. Lydia graduated from St Vincent High School, and married Jack in 1954.  She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, volunteered at St. Vincent’s church and Alphabet Soup.  She was most proud and took great pleasure in raising and taking care of her family.  Lydia’s heart was pure, and her love extended to all who knew her.

The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the wonderful care provided by Dr. Jim Leoni, PVH, Petaluma Post Acute Rehab, Hospice of Petaluma, Magdalena Hernandez, and Mereoni Lakuyara.

Friends and family are invited to visitation at Parent Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA, Monday, April 3, 2017, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the Rosary at 6:00PM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent’s Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma,  10:00 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2017.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma.
