Mae Noriel

Mae Noriel - Age 87, passed away at her Petaluma home on Wednesday, June 18. Mae lived most of her life in Petaluma. She married her childhood sweetheart, Ed Noriel in 1943. Over the years she had several jobs outside the home, but Maeâ??s lifelong calling was that of caregiver to friends, family, and neighbors. Generations of children played in her pool and ate at her table, lovingly watched over by Mae. Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Monday, June 23, from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday June 24 at 11:00 AM at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St, Petaluma, 763-4131. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ed. She was the devoted mother of David Noriel and his wife Patty, Debbie Genereux and her husband David. Loving grandmother of Ed and Jenni Noriel, Craig and Terry Noriel, Brian Noriel, Jennifer and Chuck Davis, Kasi and Josh Godfrey, and Jessica Genereux. Dear great-grandmother of twelve. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Grundstrom and by many cherished friends to whom she was â??Grandma.â?
