Margaret Jane Skwarek

Margaret Jane Skwarek - At age ninety, Jane Skwarek died on June 18, 2011 from complications, after having a second stroke. Born on March 17th, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jane spent a happy childhood with her beloved parents, Nathaniel and Vera Ellis, and two brothers Robert and Richard Ellis. While in her early teens, Jane and her family relocated to San Francisco. Majoring in music at UC Berkeley for two years, she met, and later married, Richard T. Skwarek, who was also a student there at that time. After World War II Jane and Dick moved to San Diego, where they raised their two children, and had a successful rental business.
