Margherita Bianchi

Passed away at home in Cotati, CA, February 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Aldo Bianchi. Loving mother of Angela Bianchi of Cotati, Aldo Bianchi Jr. (Mary) of Rohnert Park and Frank Bianchi (Kathryn) of Cotati. Cherished grandmother of Romina (Riccardo), Mariano (Ariana), Amber (Chris), A.J. (Jeanette), Joseph, Andrew, Gemma (Dan), and Bruno (Ashley). Adored great grandmother of Bella, Catarina, Hunter, Ryan, Bridget and Brooklyn. Margherita was the youngest of nine siblings who have preceded her in death. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Italy. She was born in Matraia, Italy, February 28, 1923 and came to the U.S. in 1951, following her marriage to Aldo in 1950. She has lived in Cotati all her life, where she has enjoyed cooking, her family and her Catholic faith. Margherita has enjoyed many enjoyable trips back to Italy over the years, visiting her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday, February 21 and 22, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Monday evening, February 22, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati, CA. Private entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma. Visitation
