Margy Marie Loughran

After 83 years of a full and beautiful life, MARGY MARIE LOUGHRAN passed away peacefully in Petaluma, CA, on 4/27/2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Frank, who partnered her in life and together raised their 7 children: Lynne Kaufman (Edward), Patrick Loughran (Chris), Terry Patton (Scott), Julie Veveiros (Steven-deceased), Cathy Pearce (Troy), Daniel Loughran, and William Loughran. Margy cultivated a culture of love and the importance of family and instilled these values in her 14 grandchildren. To all who knew her, she illustrated a devotion and commitment to her family, friends, and loved ones. Margy had many hobbies including sewing, quilting and knitting; her greatest joy however was spending time with family and laughter could usually be heard from inside or outside the Loughran home. Margy was a devoted parishioner of St. James Parish for 47 years. Please join us in a celebration of her incredible life; visitation will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St. Petaluma, CA. The vigil service will be held at 7 pm at the mortuary. The funeral mass will be observed Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. Private inurnment, Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St, Petaluma, CA 94952. Visitation
