Marian E. Spaletta

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, December 16, 2015, wife of James L. Spaletta of Valley Ford. Loving mother of Ernie Spaletta (Nichola) of Point Reyes, Kathy Spaletta-Lage (Bill) of Petaluma and the late Jimmy Spaletta, Jr. (Lisa), Jeff (BooBoo) Spaletta and Stevie Spaletta. Cherished grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of seven. Survived by Jim's longtime companion, Rosemary Steiss. Sister of Joanne Domer of San Anselmo and the late Bobby Sasson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, with special appreciation to her niece, Doreen Domer for her loving care. Lastly, survived by her cherished dog and companion, Binky. A native of San Rafael, CA. Age 77 years. She was known as "Granny" to everyone who knew and loved her. She was loving to everyone in her life. She taught us all about love and forgiveness. She was strong and made it through some difficult times in her life. She was an inspiration to us all in life and in death. She can now be with her other three boys. We will miss you! Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private interment, Olema Cemetery, Olema, CA. The family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma.
