Marie Moody Everett

Marie died peacefully at home, after a two-and-a-half year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved wife for 30 years of Rob Everett of Petaluma, the loving, step-mother of Meaghan Cary (Matthew) of Medford, MA, the sister of Dan Moody of Petaluma and Marilyn Wolf (Ron) of Columbus, OH, and was "Grandma Marie" to Daniel and Ethan Crossett of Livermore. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins galore. And, let us not forget Charlie, who found a sweet life in the Everett household, after being kicked out of his home in Las Vegas. Marie spent more than half her life working in the field of women's health care, primarily in medical imaging sales. She will be long treasured by her many colleagues and customers for her hard work, her professionalism and her witty, yet sardonic sense of humor. Marie and Rob collected many wonderful memories in their travels. but she loved nothing more than working in her garden and enjoying her home, friends and family. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Sutter Oncology and Sutter Care at Home in Santa Rosa. Marie requested there be no memorial service. Instead, she would prefer that every time you share a toast with friends, appreciate the beauty and serenity of a garden, or hug your loved ones… or your pets……you remember and think of her.
