Marie Ann Mezzanotti

MARIE ANN (B0TICA) MEZZANOTTI passed away quietly in her sleep with her husband Frank by her side on September 9th. She was born in San Francisco on October 5, 1940 to Helen Ann (Pino) Botica and Matt Botica. She married young and had two beautiful daughters. She remarried in 1975 to Frank Mezzanotti and began a new chapter. In between it all, she began a banking career at Crocker Bank, where she worked for 5 years. Once she moved to Bank of America, she stayed 34 years until she retired. She loved her family and friends, being a grandmother, having a great time, her vino, Lake Tahoe, the Giants and the 49ers. The life of the party has moved upstairs and a star is now brighter. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Frank Mezzanotti; her girls, Angie Luffel and Christine (Paul) Grech and family; her step children, Tony (Mary) Mezzanotti, Debbie (Walter) Jaynes and their families; and her beloved grandson, Eddie. Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 15, 7:00 PM at Chapel by the Sea, 801 Oceana Blvd, Pacifica, CA. Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, September 16, 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA. Immediately following mass, inurnment will held at the Italian Cemetery, Colma. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association.
