Marilyn Ann Berkowitz

Marilyn Ann Berkowitz - Marilyn A. Berkowitz, resident of Petaluma, California, passed away the morning of August 12, 2009, at the age of 63. Marilyn was born in Rochester, NY. She lived on the East Coast most of her life. She was the devoted daughter of Ben Berkowitz, deceased, and Ruth Grace Berkowitz, age 96, and loving sister to Jerry Berkowitz of Cotati, California. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive her. Marilyn was known for her comedic timing and delightful humor that entertained diverse audiences. Besides writing, Marilyn enjoyed going to movies and dining at Applebee's Restaurant. Marilyn had a keen eye and appreciation for fashion styles and all forms of art, including painting and photography. One of her photographs was published in the Press Democrat. Unity was the theme of her spiritual walk that she shared with many of her friends, at Unity Church of Petaluma. All are invited to a memorial celebration to honor Marilyn's life on August 29, 2009, 1-3 pm, at Parent-Sorenson Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St, Petaluma, California.
