Marilyn E. Bridgman

Passed away at home in Sonoma, CA, September 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Laursen. Loving mother of Rick Bridgman and cherished grandmother of Ashley Bridgman and Brittany Bridgman. Sister of the late Patricia Trudgen. Daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Cunningham) Smith.

A native of Petaluma, Marilyn graduated from St. Vincent High School, Class of 1948 and then attended UC Berkeley. She was an active volunteer as a docent for the symphony and the Oakland and S.F. Zoos.  Also an avid Giants and Cal Bear fan. She resided in the East Bay for many years until returning to Sonoma in 1998.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY and CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma. Private entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to your favorite charity.
