Marilyn Ruth O'Grady - O"GRADY, MARILYN RUTH" Entered into rest at home in Santa Rosa, CA, October 17, 2009. Dearly beloved and devoted fifty-two year wife of Earl J. O"Grady of Santa Rosa, CA. Cherished aunt of Pam, Randy, Cindy & Kelley. Also survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews. A native of San Francisco, age 87 years. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; Hammond William and Alice Naomi (Daugherty) McCarthy and her sister; Patricia Stokes. Reared in San Francisco, Marilyn is a graduate of the Lowell High School Class of 1940 and later attended the College of the Pacific. Marilyn is retired from Pacific Telephone & Telegraph, where she served as the Business Office Supervisor. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Olympic Club Women"s Section, the Oakmont Golf Association and the Wild Oak Saddle Club. She was also a devote member of Star of the Valley Catholic Church.
