Marjorie Ruth Shank

MARJORIE RUTH SHANK passed away on August 29, 2015 in Petaluma at the age of 88 years. Devoted wife of the late Leighton Stuart Saltsgaver and James Edward Shank. Cherished mother of Kathleen Torrey, Jon Saltsgaver, George Saltsgaver, and Mary Jo Markey. Beloved step-mother of Rosemarie Garman, Donald Shank, and Karen Chilson. Survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marjorie was born in Kansas City, KS but has spent the last 50 years as a Calistoga resident. She and her husband, Jim, delighted many passersby on Petrified Forest Road with their folksy signs and pasture decorations. She was a lifetime member, as well as past president and past national officer, of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Helena Unit. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
