Marjorie Elaine Zimmerman Nee Soldate

Passed away on March 30, 2013 in Healdsburg at the age of 101. Devoted wife of the late Clyde E. Zimmerman. Loving mother of Marion Johnson of Healdsburg and Gary (Bunny) Zimmerman of Lakeport. Cherished grandmother of Barri Johnson of Petaluma, Martin (Jennifer) Johnson of Santa Rosa, and Richard (Cheryl) Zimmerman of Lakeport. Survived by her great-grandchildren: Daniele Zimmerman, Nicole Lehtola, Jon Lehtola, Blake Johnson, and Sydney Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Rosalie Zimmerman of Petaluma. She was born to Alice (Carr) and ‘Chet' Soldate in Petaluma; a Sonoma County pioneer family with lineage back to 1851. Marjorie worked at Ternes, Ott's and Schoenigh's Office Supply stores for over 30 years. She was very proud of her Sonoma County heritage. A member of the United Church of Christ in Petaluma for over 50 years. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Ave, Petaluma.
