Mary Bonomi

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of MARY (ROBUSTELLI) BONOMI on December 29, 2016 in Petaluma.  She was born on April 10, 1928 in the small town of Montaque in Siskiyou County. In 1950, she married Alfred Bonomi after only knowng him for six weeks.  She met him when they both worked at Poultry Producers.  They were married 44 years until his passing in 1994.  They made their home in Petaluma, where she loved tending to the flowers in her garden. Mary is survived by her daughters, Rose Yelton (Charlie), Shirley Smith (Kevin Kennedy), and Margaret Iske (John); grandchildren, Renee (Chuck), Robin (Rob), Christopher (Holly); great-grandchildren, Haley, Eric, Taylor, Anthony and Kai.  She is also survived by her sister Caterina Tyrrell, brother John Robustelli and many nieces, nephews and friends.  She is predeceased by her brothers Domenico and Louie Robustelli, her sister Marjorie Longest and her son-in-law Dennis Smith. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  Entombment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
