Mary K. Calkin - Passed away on August 2, 2007 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Dick Calkin. Beloved mother of Rich Calkin (Adele) and Kathy Reid all of Petaluma, Margie Barry (George) of Tiburon, Don Calkin (Valerie) of Millbrae, and the late Bob Kennedy and Tom Kennedy. Adored grandmother of Richie Calkin and Ryan Calkin (Stacy) all of Petaluma, Robbie, Jeanie, and Allison Barry all of Tiburon and Megan and Joey Calkin both of Millbrae. Cherished great-grandmother of Tanner and Jesse Calkin both of Petaluma. Predeceased by 6 brothers. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age: 91 years. A Member of: St. James Catholic Church, Motherâ??s Guild of Holy Name Church in San Francisco, past Secretary of NARF in Santa Rosa, and Den Mother for the Boy Scouts. Mary was born, reared, and educated in Chicago, IL, graduating from Mercy High School. She loved to play bridge, but she especially loved spending time with her family. Her family would especially like to thank Hospice of Petaluma for their dedication and assistance and Maryâ??s many friends and neighbors for their love and support. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Monday, August 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. A Visitation will be held, Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA (707) 763-4131. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Private Inurnment: Olivet Memorial Park, Colma, CA.
