Mary R. Deniz - Passed away on March 17, 2012 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Agostinho B. Deniz. Cherished mother of Ernest B. Deniz (Beverly) of Petaluma. Adored grandmother of Kevin Soper (Nikki), Lucas Deniz (Lisa), Becky Deniz, Vicky Prior (Frank), and Eddy Deniz (Bethany). Beloved great-grandmother of Kristina and Steven Soper; Emily and Abby Prior; and Darren and Shelby Deniz. Loving sister of the late Joe Silveira. Friends and family are invited to meet on Thursday, March 22, 2012 after 10:15 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, thence to St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy., Petaluma, CA 94954, where at 11:00 AM a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at the Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Church Building Fund. Entombment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma. Age: 91 years.
