Mary was very proud of her family's deep roots in California that dated back seven generations, when her ancestors arrived in 1769. She became an amateur genealogist, researching her father's descendant's who came from the north of Spain, and her mother's descendant's who came from County Kilkenny, Ireland. Throughout her life, Mary was very committed to community service, and became active in many organizations such as the Earle Baum Center of the Blind, the Petaluma Garden Club just to mention a few. She was also a dear friend of many too numerous to name...
In Mary's honor have an Irish Coffee!
