Mary S. Noguchi - Passed away on August 17, 2008 in Santa Rosa. Devoted wife of the late Frank Noguchi. Cherished mother of Sharon Noguchi (Mark Joerger) of Santa Rosa. Beloved grandmother of Lianne Maoki, Jason Joerger (Laura), and Jeremy Joerger (Alex). Adored great-grandmother of Haley, Jake, Kiana, and Kyleah. Loving sister of Marcille Tabata and the late John Okazaki and Mabel Okazaki. Dear sister-in-law of Harue Okazaki. Loving aunt of Joanne Okazaki. Mary truly lived her beliefs by being grateful for what she had and giving to others what she could. She was always available to help and support others in their time of need, consoling the sad, cooking for others, sending cookies to service people she knew during the War, and caring for her granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing poker with her family and the slot machines in Reno. Most of all, she was persistent. She rose above all the obstacles in her life, as well as her physical disabilities later in life, displaying pride and dignity-never complaining, always smiling. Maryâ??s family would like to thank Beverly Living Center, Santa Rosa (London House) and Memorial Hospice for their compassionate care.
