Mary Jane Tousignant -
Age 91, passed away peacefully in Santa Rosa on Thursday, August 28, 2008. Born in Sebastopol on November 5, 1916 where she attended local schools along with her brother, William.
Mary Jane met and later married the love of her life, George Tousignant at St. Rose Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, Ca. Together they resided for a while in the Los Angeles area to accommodate George's work. Mary Jane worked as a "stylish""" employee of the Magnin and Company Clothing Store until their return to Santa Rosa. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, and brother """Bill."""
"" In recent years, Mary Jane told many humorous "Georgisms""" recalling his wonderful humor. All well worth recalling.
Mary Jane is survived by loving niece Teri Willow (Michael Greer), loving nephew Mark Markarian (Katrina), and George's niece Jean Ardigo.
Friends and family see this stylish lady smiling, laughing, talking, and strumming her ukulele as she gloriously tap dances her way to unite with her beloved George. She will be missed, but loved and remembered as """Unforgettable""".

helped make Mary Jane's last days peaceful and comfortable.
Learning at a very early age of her love for dancing, she began a
lifetime of "Tap""". She taught tap dancing into her 87th year of age as a Senior Volunteer at the local Senior Center. She was honored for her 12 years of loyal and devoted service.
