Mary Vivian Vieira

It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our sister Mary on Tuesday July 1st.

Mary was the daughter of William (Bill) and Jeanette Vieira, sister of Gayleen Maas (Dennis), Bill and Joe Vieira, and adored aunt of Samantha Maas. Mary is also survived by her uncle and aunt, Wayne and Susan Bloom, and many, many cousins.

Mary lived her entire life on the family ranch and played a key role in the family business. Mary worked for more than 35 years at Petaluma Livestock and 22 years at Hunt and Behrens, Mary considered her co-workers and customers as family.

Besides her love of all animals especially, horses and dogs, Mary was an accomplished baker and candy maker. If you were lucky enough to enjoy her Christmas candies and cookies it is a memory that you will not soon forget.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 9th at 10:00a.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary; 850 Keokuk Street in Petaluma following burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
