A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan 16 (visitation 9 a.m.) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Petaluma chapel (745 No. Webster), for Maxine L. Boitano, of Dillon Beach, who died Jan 10th of complications of pneumonia. She was age 90.
Maxine was born Feb 11, 1924, in Montpelier, ID, to Brigham Irwin and Joyce Young. She was married to Arthur "Bill" Kisby, and in 1963 she was remarried to Donald T. Boitano.
Maxine graduated from Fielding High School (Paris, ID) in 1942. She worked in an airplane plant and armory during WW ii, as civil service finance clerk (for U.S. Army), and in food service at the family business in Berkeley. She later retired civil service. Maxine was a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Maxine was pre-deceased by her daughter Lois Kisby (2013) and is survived by her son Edward Kisby, of Derby, KS, nine grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren (of IL, IN, MO, TX, UT, and OR).
