Maxine Yaeger

Maxine Yaeger - Maxine Yaeger, 85, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007 at her home in Petaluma. Maxine was the dearly beloved wife for 55 years of the late Raymond Louis Yaeger and the devoted mother of Diane Yaeger and husband Mel Dexheimer, Christine Yaeger and husband Paul Judge, and Robert Yaeger. She was grandmother to Ryan Day and wife Heather, Jesse Day, Sam Judge, Rebekah Lustig-Yaeger, and Jacob Lustig-Yaeger. She is survived by her loving sister, Jean Heuer, and four nieces. Maxine enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ray, and they traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. She loved spending time with her family at the family cabin in the Sierra Nevada. Maxine was an avid card player, spending many afternoons with her bridge club friends. Her sharp mind and loving nature will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA 94952 763-4131 Maxine was the older of two daughters born to Myrtle and Herman Godberson. She spent her childhood in Northfield, Minnesota until the family moved to St. Paul. She attended Carleton College and graduated from the University of Minnesota.
