Merv W. Ayers - Passed away July 29, 2010 in Petaluma. Devoted husband to Louise Ayers of Petaluma. Cherished father to Wade Ayers (Lillian) & Natalie Ayers-Jones (Wayne). Adored grandfather to Dominic Ayers, Monique Bradley, Kenny & Amber Jones. Merv was born June 1, 1935, to William & Alma Petersen-Ayers in Santa Rosa, CA. Merv lost his parents at a very young age and was raised by his aunt & uncle Harold & Florence Petersen. Predeceased by his brothers William & Robert Ayers and sister Virginia Miller. Survived by his sisters-in-law Delores and Rena Ayers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His passion was spending time with his family, & his dog â??cuddles.â?
