Dear son of Robert Van der Beek of Weatherford, Texas and Marie (Larry) Love of Kalispell, Montana. Adored father of Holland Van der Beek of Santa Rosa. Step father of Christopher Zonta of Santa Rosa, Tamara Gehlen of Truckee and Rebecca Gehlen of Petaluma. Brother of Marnie (Brad) Tinker of Gilbert, Arizona, Cindy Van der Beek of Gilbert, Arizona, Eric (Chiara) Van der Beek of Lewistown, Montana, Jason (Leslie) Van der Beek of Phoenix, Arizona and Rob (Cheryl) Van der Beek of Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael is also survived by the mother of Holland and Christopher, Sara Lewis of Santa Rosa. At the request of Michael, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family prefer memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local Hospice. PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY. A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Age 49 years.
